圣草酚具有抗氧化、抗炎、镇痛、改善糖尿病及糖尿病并发症(的作用。有研究发现圣草酚可通过抑制pro-caspase-3 或 pro-caspase-9的裂解和细胞色素C释放,有效的保护紫外线诱导的角质细胞的死亡。 圣草酚能抗菌、抗炎,在糖尿病的发病机制中起着至关重要的作用,可以抑制 immunoglobulin E(Ig E)/antigen (Ag)诱导I型过敏反应,同时具有止痛及温热功效。Eriodictyol 是从中草药中得到的黄酮类,具有抗氧化、抗炎的功效。Eriodictyol 能够诱导 Nrf2 信号通路。Eriodictyol 还是一种流感依赖 RNA 的 RNA 聚合酶抑制剂,IC50 为 18 nM。
Eriodictyol is a flavonoid isolated from the Chinese herb, with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. Eriodictyol (20, 40, 80 μM) protects primary cultured cortical neurons against Aβ 25-35 -induced cytotoxicity and cell apoptosis via the Nrf2/ARE pathway. Eriodictyol (80 μM) induces nuclear expression of Nrf2 and the expression of ARE-regulated genes in primary cultured cortical neurons.
Eriodictyol shows protective effect against LPS-induced acute lung injury (ALI). Eriodictyol (30 mg/kg, p.o.) decreases the production of inflammatory cytokines, elevates survival rate, and decreases oxidative stress levels in LPS-induced ALI mice. Eriodictyol inhibits MPO activity and inflammatory neutrophil accumulation in the lung tissues. Eriodictyol treatment also enhances Trx1 expression by upregulating the Nrf2 expression in lung tissues.
