Hematein 是苏木精的氧化产物，可作为染料。Hematein 是一种变构酪蛋白激酶 II 抑制剂，IC50 为 0.74 μM。Hematein 抑制 Akt/PKB Ser129 磷酸化，Wnt/TCF 途径并增加肺癌细胞的凋亡。
